What inspired you to start your business? How did your business get started?
When I was a police officer I would conduct house checks but only walked the exterior of homes and always wondered how someone would know if a pipe burst or the furnace broke down. I wanted to be able to do more to protect peoples most prize possession so I started Safe Home, providing reliable house checks.

Safe Home provides reliable house checks:
Exterior:
1. Walk the perimeter of the home check overall condition and security
2. Check for any insect or pest intrusion.
3. Check windows and screens for damage or signs of intrusion.
Interior:
1. Check overall condition of security of home.
2. Check for visual signs of water leak.
3. Flush toilets and wait for cycle to complete.
4. Run all faucets.
5. Check all electrical devices (lights, clocks, refrigerator).
What is your favorite thing to do in your business?
My favorite thing to do is getting to know the customer, while building their trust.
If nothing else, what is the one piece of information you want someone to know about your business?
My business can be altered to fit everyone’s personal needs. I can mail packages or run an errand for someone while they are away. Each customer has different needs and desires,
What is the one piece of business advice you would like to share?
Do not think it couldn’t happen to you!! (a home in the United States is broken into every 60 seconds).
