Community Revitalization Fund Awards $60,000 in second grant cycle
The Greater Northampton Chamber of Commerce (GNCC), in partnership with the Downtown Northampton Association (DNA) and United Way of Hampshire County, has awarded over $60,000 in microgrants to 28 small businesses in the Northampton area as in its second round of grants from the Community Revitalization Fund. The Fund was established and is being supported by a community-wide, fundraising campaign to provide assistance to small businesses as they recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. To date, $140,000 has been awarded to 56 area businesses. The grants range in size up to $5,000 and are designed to help revitalize the Northampton small business community.
