Tiffany Chapman is a portrait photographer who specializes in branding and marketing for businesses and offers contemporary portraits. Her gorgeous 800 SF portrait studio is located in Florence, where she welcomes clients into a completely customized portrait experience. We wanted to learn more about Tiffany and her work, so we took a moment to connect!
What inspired you to start your business?
In 2016 I was an assistant for a fellow portrait photographer and as a “thank you” for helping, I was given the gift of a portrait session with hair and makeup services. I was hooked. I have never felt so beautiful in a portrait. I just knew I needed to shift my photography genre to Portraits.
So, I started my business out of my living room where I invited friends and family to let me photograph them. Then, I rented space locally and kept going until I secured my Portrait Studio in January of 2018.
what keeps you motivated?
I follow a wonderful mentor/educator online, Sue Bryce, who has truly changed my vision for my craft of photography. I love giving my clients either an extra edge to help grow their business or ever lasting memories to pass down their legacy.
Tell us, what is your favorite thing about life in the greater northampton area?
The business community here has been extremely welcoming, and I feel like everyone genuinely cares about seeing each other succeed.
What is the one thing you want folks to know about your work, if nothing else?
I LOVE what I do. I will make you feel comfortable from the moment you speak to me either via email, face-to-face, or text. I guarantee my work and making my clients happy is my number one priority.
What's something people might not know about your business?
I also offer an extensive studio wardrobe for those people who may need to step out of their comfort zone or out of their own closet. While I mostly have women’s clothing – I am considering adding a few men’s items as well.
Will you share a piece of professional/business advice with us?
Learn to accept that you are going to fail at things and that’s okay. Just keep going! There are many successes ahead.
