Seeking Nominations for the Greater Northampton Chamber Board of Directors

NOTE: Nominations are now closed.
Do you know a mover and a shaker, someone who gets what our community is about and has the vision and leadership to make it even better? The Greater Northampton Chamber is seeking nominations for its Board of Directors—and we need your help!

The GNCC is a long-standing community and business organization inspired by diversity, equity, and inclusion that has worked successfully over the past three years to carry out its strategic plan. We welcome nominations from within the GNCC’s current investors and from community members who have an interest in strengthening our businesses and our community.

This year, we’re looking for individuals who are interested in stepping into Chamber board and committee leadership and those who are excited to energize our business community and think creatively about inspiring others through the Chamber. We  want to continue to diversify our board with a broad range of demographics, experience, and viewpoints to better represent our community. Read about our current board members.

Board meetings are held in person from 9 to 10:30 AM on the fourth Thursday of every month. Board terms are 3 years, with an automatic renewal option for a second 3-year term.

Board members will also serve on one of the Chamber’s committees: Check out our current committees here.

Please suggest people (including yourself, if applicable!) whom you think should be considered. Nominations should be submitted by September 30. We will be in touch with nominees by October 15.

If you have a question about the process or want to learn more before submitting, please schedule a 15-minute meeting with Beth Pellettieri, GNCC Nominations Committee member using this link. https://bpcoaching.as.me/gncc-call

We look forward to meeting the new nominees!

Sincerely,

The Nominations Committee of the GNCC
